Oro-TIPC took part in Oro Chamber’s ORO BEST EXPO 2024: ORO BEST EXPO Goes Halal last 29 October 2024, where Halal products, services, and industry partnerships in Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao took center stage!
On display at the Cagayan de Oro booth were the products of Ginamâ OTOP Hub, the offerings of the Cagayan de Oro City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, and opportunities for investment as showcased by Oro-TIPC.
The event kicked off with a message of welcome from City Mayor Rolando A. UY, delivered in his behalf by City Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, and a panel discussion featuring LEDIPO John W. Asuncion, who shared insights on “Mindanao Halal Corridor: Filling the Gaps, Addressing the Challenges, and Seizing Opportunities.”
LEDIPO John W. Asuncion participated in a lively discussion on “Mindanao Halal Corridor: Filling the Gaps, Addressing the Challenges, and Seizing Opportunities” at Oro Chamber’s ORO BEST EXPO Goes Halal last Tuesday (October 29) at Limketkai Luxe Hotel.
He shared the stage with Oro Chamber Corporate Secretary Bimbo Gabor, who moderated the discussion, and Bestfriend Goodies’ Nenita M. Tan whose Halal-certified ready-to-eat products clinched the coveted Katha Award at this year’s International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines and was featured in Gulfood 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
