Inviting all MSMEs to join this year’s Circular Economy Capacity Building for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in ASEAN organized by ASEAN Japan Centre together with Institute for Circular Economy Development (ICED). The workshop will be held online via zoom, over four (4) days starting 30 November – 21 December 2022.
This program seeks to empower MSMEs in ASEAN by improving the participants’ awareness of the circular economy and the opportunities it provides for MSMEs since they play a significant role in the circular transition process, to wit:
- Improve the understanding of CE among MSMEs, and showcase good practices from Japanese and ASEAN firms
- Develop the capacity to apply CE practices from MSMEs, thereby developing sustainable products/ services
- Promote collaboration and investment between AMS and Japan
Participants who are committed to the transition to circularity will have the opportunity for further consultation meetings with experts to assist them in the circular transition process. AJC and ICED will select businesses based on questionnaire results, performance, and commitment during the workshop.
