Today, we celebrate the bedrock of the Philippine economy: our Micro-, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), which make up 99% of all registered enterprises in the country.
On April 6, 2017, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution recognizing MSMEs’ vital role in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This resolution, co-sponsored by 54 member states representing over 5 billion people, designates June 27 as โMicro-, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises Day.โ
