On May 30, 2025, the City Tourism Hall of Cagayan de Oro served as a distinguished venue for collaboration and advancement during the successful conduct of the Grand Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Fair, organized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in partnership with the City Government of Cagayan de Oro through the Oro Trade and Investment Promotion Center (Oro-TIPC) and Lazada Philippines.
In line with ARTA’s EODB Month, the fair brought together various national and local government agencies, private sector enablers, and key stakeholders to deliver fast, accessible, and people-centered public services — all in one venue.
A major highlight of the event was the participation of Lazada through its “Lazada Communitour” program, which provided local MSMEs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and digital sellers with valuable training and tools to thrive in the e-commerce landscape. Lazada’s presence underscored the importance of public-private collaboration in equipping businesses with digital capabilities and expanding market access, especially for grassroots entrepreneurs.
Through live demos, mentoring sessions, and onboarding opportunities, Lazada empowered participants to embrace digital transformation, opening doors to national and global markets — a strong complement to ARTA’s mission of making it easier to do business in the country.
