The Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program is a flagship initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship โ Go Negosyo. It aims to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and networks to scale and sustain their businesses. Through a 10-module mentorship program, industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs guide mentees in key areas such as business planning, financial management, marketing, operations, and innovation.
On March 7, 2025, DTI Misamis Oriental successfully conducted the KMME Program Orientation, where 22 mentees officially took their pledge of commitment to the program. With this milestone, the province is now preparing for the official launch of the program on March 18, 2025, signaling another step toward empowering local entrepreneurs and strengthening the MSME sector in the region.
